Jaguars vs. Colts - End of 1st Quarter

Filed under: Game of the Week, NFL — Drew @ 2:02 pm

The Jags look out of sync on offense and defense.  The challenge that they lost in which it looked like the Colts fumbled was huge.  I still can’t believe that was an incomplete pass.  Manning went for the jugular…touchdown Wayne.  Hopefully, the Jags will show up.

Jaguars vs. Colts - Coaches Challenges

What’s the record for the number of coaches challenges in a quarter?  That record has to be in jeopardy.  This seems like the longest 1st quarter of the season.

Jaguars vs. Colts - Missed Field Goal

Filed under: Game of the Week, NFL — Drew @ 1:39 pm

After a promising drive that included a sweet run by Fred Taylor.  Josh Scobee wasn’t even close on a 46 yard field goal.  It has to make the other players stomachs churn when the kicker misses.

Jaguars vs. Colts - Kickoff

Filed under: Game of the Week, NFL — Drew @ 1:25 pm

Well after pretty lackluster opening drive by the Colts, Mr. David “No Turnover” Garrard fumbled at a horrible spot on the field.  Nice challenge from Tony Dungy to win the fumble ruling.  I would have liked for Del Rio to challenge the fumble.  I didn’t see a lot of good angles, but it looked like Garrard’s arm may have been going forward or they may have won the via the “tuck rule”.
Oops.  Touchdown Colts. That hurt for Jags fans.

I’m going to start a real-time series of blog posts during my Game of the Week. I’ll submit a post after each quarter and after any major, interesting events during the game. This should be a good game to start off this series. Major playoff positioning is at stake here. This should be fun.
