Did Brett Favre’s injury give the Packers their best chance to beat the Cowboys?

Aaron Rodgers sure looked great subbing for the future Hall of Famer. Being a Detroit Lions fan, I have seen the good and the bad from Brett Favre. Unfortunately, for the Green Bay Packers, on Thursday night, the bad Brett Favre was on display. I actually, liked the Packers chances for winning the game, see my weekly picks, until I started watching Brett try his best Tony Romo(5 ints vs. the Bills) and Peyton Manning(6 ints at San Diego) impersonations. Officially, Brett threw 2 picks, one happened during the play in which he was injured, but he easily had 2-3 other throws that should have resulted in picks.

The score was 10-27 when Rodgers entered the game. After shaking off the rust, he almost immediately led the Packers into the endzone and quickly turned around a game that was getting out of hand. I am looking forward to watching a possible rematch with the Packers at full strength. Charles Woodson will help to contain Patrick Crayton or T.O. and KGB will help the pass rush. Green Bay proved that they can play with the best defense that the Cowboys can muster. Hopefully, for the Packers sake, the good Brett will show up in a re-match.
