The Colts have made me a believer. They continue to fly under the radar. I’ll take them over the Patriots next week. I hope the Redskins can keep this week’s game somewhat respectable.

Earlier this week I read a report that Steven Jackson will play this Sunday after missing 4 games due to a groin injury. Scott Linehan mentioned that he may a bit “guarded” in hopes of not aggravating the injury. This sounds to me like Steven Jackson may not be that close to 100%. I understand that they are winless, but what is the reasoning behind bringing back your star player a week before your bye? I understand that he gets paid to play, but it seems more logical to me that you rest him another game which will actually give him two more weeks of rest due to the bye week. Then you will probably get a more healthier Steven Jackson, to help make a late season push to finish on a positive note. They have no shot at getting into the playoffs, so why bring him back? Seems like he is trying to do anything possible to remove that 0 from the win column. Next thing you know, he will play a quarterback with two broken ribs……..LOL.

Are you impressed by the list of undefeated teams in College Football? I’m not. Growing up in South Carolina and later becoming an alum of the University of South Carolina, damn you Vanderbilt, I am a huge fan of the SEC. Even after LSU lost to Kentucky, I never waivered in my belief that they deserve to play in the National Title game. I need OSU or BC to lose. Hopefully, Boston College’s loss will happen tonight against Virginia Tech.  Who do you think is the best team in College Football?

Regarding South Carolina, I was not at all surprised that they lost the game. I attended the game vs. UNC and they looked horrible. The definitely did not look like the #6 team in the country. I hoped that we could get a shot at a BCS Bowl. Oh well. At least we are clearly going to the right direction as a program and still have a shot at winning the SEC.

Is it just me or are you also looking forward to next week’s match-up between the Patriots and Colts? After the Colts destroyed a very solid Jags team on Monday night, I think they can easily play the “no respect” card entering the big showdown. Every week you hear about how Brady to Moss is re-writing the record books and that no one can take down the Patriots. Granted, I believe that they are a very good team, but I am just not at all impressed by their wins. Yes, they defeated a lackluster Charger team, but does anyone really believe that team is even a shell of the ‘06-’07 team? The Colts on the other hand have been battle tested all season and the Monday night domination of the Jags sealed the deal for me. I think they have more than enough offense to score with the Patriots and enough defense to somewhat contain Randy Moss. In theory, the Tampa 2 was designed to contain players like Moss. As long a “Big Hits” Bob Sanders is in the secondary, I am a believer in their defense. I can’t wait. Who do you think will win?
